greymouth to lake mahinapua (doc camp site )

greymouth to lake mahinapua (doc camp site )
the days riding starts with a bit of a back track into town to stock up on food at the supper market before riding out of town alongs the flats towards the town of hokitika riding over a one lane road/rail bridge-remember to give way to trains on this bridge : ) at arahura there is a new bridge to replace the old road/rail bridge that was their well new from the last time i was here back in 2007 - just past the new bridge (what is on the site of the old bridge ) is part of the old bridge saved so people can see what it was like also there is some info signs about the bridges and the river next to it so I stop for a read of the signs and look at the part of the bridge as i have some food. at hokitika i head for the library for a few hours before heading south for around 10-15 km until i get to the turn off for lake mahinapua where there is a nice doc camp site - next to the lake is one of the old paddle streamer's that was used on the lake until the rail way came (now the rail line is gone and I think they may be using the old line as part of one of the new cycle ways?
