some where to Mt Somers

some where to Mt Somers

after packing up my tent i get on the road after about 12 km the road heads down hill with a 200 m down hill in 2 km to cross the rakaia river  the road crosser the river over 2 brights - one of then a very odd looking one lane steel one the other bright is a 2 lane arc cocrach? one. as i'm taking photos i see some people having a play in a jet boat . after a good look around I get back on the road to start the long climb out of the gorge at the top of the climb the road flatting out with a slite down hill for most of the rest of the day. it must be road fixing up time as I go though a long pice of road works with deep gravel. passing the town of stavely I stop a cafe and as Im starting to run low on food I stop for a bit before heading to the town of Mt Somers where there is a new libley that had just opened today after a bit of a chat to the people there I head down the road to the domain camp ground for the night (there is as so a motor camp 50 m down the road from the domain camp ground that costs 2 times as much to stay at (motor camp is around $22 domain camp is $12 a night )
